HitPointsPlus

Development

HitPointsPlus change log. Newest first. What shipped in the arcade, not a host diagram.

  1. 5 Oct 2026

    Public-bar display placement only

The pre-game splash is a HitPointsPlus frame, not an AdSense slot; its five-second entry lock is unchanged. The only future display placement is the public bar, away from Join and Enter Game. Preset AdSense pre-roll is refused. A later cartridge may separately integrate eligible H5 ads at a natural gameplay break; none are installed now. The device-local cookie notice is not a certified advertising consent tool. No ad script, publisher ID or protected-write change.

  2. 4 Oct 2026

Encrypted audits and verified staff seats

The owner can save an encrypted audit and open it on the original key device for a readable text download. Restore targets one seat's latest checkpoint, including HitPointsPlus HP and cartridge stats, and records an encrypted audit entry without message bodies. Server-side Gmail lists assign verified Google moderators or testers. Moderators can open staff issues and restore checkpoints, but cannot manage staff, change the owner, gain ranked HP, hold trophies or gain powers in a game. Testers can play and rank and have eligibility for a future cartridge paywall exemption. Removing a staff row revokes privileges while keeping the account as an ordinary player. Own staff profiles offer encrypted issue text and one bounded image or short video. Moderator report keys are separate from the owner's key. No game build, splash timing, HP formula, trophy hash or message privacy change.

  3. 4 Oct 2026

    Search focus and HitPointsPlus wording

The standard-page header stays mounted while live search opens and updates player results, so typing keeps focus and the caret in the search box. Result links support arrow navigation after the box is left, with Enter opening the focused profile. Controller navigation leaves text inputs alone. Arcade-facing labels now use HitPointsPlus consistently. Locked seats, the play and exit layouts, splash timing, HP math, trophy hashes and message privacy remain unchanged.

  4. 4 Oct 2026

    Saved profile pictures

Saved JPEG and PNG pictures now display after reload in the profile, header avatar, and board. The script-less picture frame embeds validated image data instead of a blob URL it could not open. Key-seat board reads load the saved account row, and profile API writes persist it. The 1 MB limit, magic-byte checks, and browser rasterization remain. Failed uploads or saves show the reason beside Save; Remove picture followed by Save clears the stored image. Themes still color only the profile card. No game install, HP math, trophy hash, splash or message privacy change.

  5. 4 Oct 2026

Saved key-seat lookup and player suggestions

Public profile and player-search reads load saved key accounts after a server restart. Short name fragments suggest matching seats without declaring a finished miss; empty search stays empty. An older device-held key sign-in whose unsaved server row was lost can explicitly re-register an available name using its saved phrase, after confirming age and Terms. This does not recover lost HP, achievements or history, and a browser alias alone cannot create a seat. Follow notes now say they are saved on this device. The two reserved profiles remain, and gameplay, splash timing, HP math, trophy hashes and message privacy are unchanged.

  6. 4 Oct 2026

Empty ad slot, exit notice, and earned titles

The pre-game frame is now an empty advertisement slot without the test reel or chip; the five-second Enter Game lock stays. External Route Tree, social, and donation destinations use a leaving page. A non-blocking cookie notice stores the device choice and leaves optional cookies off until accepted. Legal and donation notices state site upkeep, creative development, hiring, and one-way donations without refunds. Titles are granted by cartridge achievements, not typed on profiles: later grants replace the display and retain prior titles on the sheet. Username changes move to settings. A key seat can prove ownership with its full recovery phrase before GPS verification, including Canada; the mark still lasts seven days. Key sessions and location records persist server-side, without owner or tester privileges. No game build, HP math, trophy hash, header style, or message privacy change.

  7. 4 Oct 2026

Era Weaver cover and donation pages

The supplied Era Weaver cover is shared by its shelf card and share image. Empty TBA slots are removed; shelf navigation appears only when the cards overflow the row. Later games are installed through catalog rows, not runtime uploads. Join keeps key signup and does not offer an unconfigured Google sign-in. Footer PayPal and Bitcoin marks open donation pages with the one-way notice. The Bitcoin address has Copy and a scannable QR with the HitPointsPlus logo. No game build was copied, and splash timing, HP math, trophy hashes, and message privacy are unchanged.

  8. 3 Oct 2026

    HitPointsPlus samples cleared

The sample engine room route, sample competitors, automatic sample friendships/messages, public tester entry, and public test-ad slots are removed. xaelserpent and danrydr remain, with their pictures and existing owner sheet details. Key signup still issues a 16-word phrase. The private owner desk has a stored Gmail Tester list for future cartridge paywall exemptions: only a verified Google address qualifies, and removing it revokes eligibility. Testers use the normal splash. No game build was copied, and HP math, trophy hashes, and message privacy are unchanged.

  9. 3 Oct 2026

    Four volatile Era Weaver trophies

Coliseum Apex, Uncegila Slayer, Thunderbird's Chosen, and War-Monger of Black Island are four empty trophy slots. The verified owner desk can award a slot to a seat. Each active trophy adds 250 to a separate active trophy HP total, not HitPointsPlus HP or the leaderboard. A transfer records who took the trophy and when; if the new grant fails, the old holder keeps it. Reclaiming adds a new history row. The rows have linked, immutable hashes and survive restart. Times display as Eastern Time, UTC-5. Active trophies use a glowing gold HP mark. xaelserpent's title, Developer Badge, and existing Hi-Score stay unchanged.

  10. 3 Oct 2026

Private play logs, checkpoints, and cartridge ratings

Verified seats now have activity logs for sign-in and sign-out, cartridge and profile visits, friend actions, message alias pairs, favourite cartridge by active time, and last verified location. Message words stay out of the log. Hourly observed checkpoints save HP and seat state. The verified owner desk can review logs, restore checkpoint HP, and recover a missing seat from its private saved account snapshot. Logs and restore records survive restart, and restoring HP cannot undo a current freeze. Eight uninterrupted active hours in a cartridge raises a flag for manual review, not an automatic freeze. Cartridge cards show a genre and one changeable + or - rating per verified seat. Era Weaver's genre is Action. HitPointsPlus HP math and splash timing are unchanged.

  11. 3 Oct 2026

Location marks, metadata, and share cards

The supplied location mark appears on profiles, the board, the header seat, and beside the last verification time in the HitPointsPlus Metadata Window. Account details and the mark open that window. Verified players can confirm a device location without a fee; mock sign-in cannot mint a mark. Current marks expire after seven days, with one bell reminder during the last day. xaelserpent keeps a permanent Atlantic Satellite mark. danrydr has the supplied portrait. Cartridge share cards use the cover on gold with Play. Rank. Rise.; missing covers use the site logo. The footer uses the header's gold wash.

  12. 3 Oct 2026

Profile balance and visible Route Tree links

Profiles keep picture, name, title, and account details together, with Badges and Achievements beside the name on wide screens and underneath on phones. Route Tree links are all visible in a wrapping grid, stacked on phones, without a link scrollbar. Badges and achievements show two items before Show all and Show less. The existing Era Weaver's Hi-Score has its own gold pixel trophy mark. Long profile text stays inside the card, and profile themes still color that card only.

  13. 3 Oct 2026

    Owner title, badge, and achievement

xaelserpent is seeded with the title Eagle Lady's Legendary Hero, the Developer Badge, and Era Weaver's Hi-Score. The achievement reads: Beat the current hi-score at Era Weaver's Coliseum. Cartridge achievement posts stay on the player's sheet and do not write HP.

  14. 3 Oct 2026

Legal page and terms: Crazy Horse Gaming Engine, English controls, fiction

Legal and Terms now name the Crazy Horse Gaming Engine, say the cartridges are “as is,” and say English is the only binding text. Fiction is not an influence claim. The signup checkbox is the clickwrap. Counsel still reviews before production.

  15. 28 Sep 2026

    Clans, terms, and the bell

Signup now asks for the Terms of Use as well as the 18+ claim. A new name starts with an empty Route Tree. The bell lists friend requests, new messages, and one Era Weaver note. Clans are public rosters. Messages and calls are 1:1 between friends; opening a cartridge hangs up an active call.

  16. 28 Sep 2026

    Footer flush and the glossary

Short pages end on the footer. The HitPointsPlus change log is dated from here back through the month. The glossary below names the cartridge, the cabinet, and the promise that HitPointsPlus titles stay listed. The mark is the sword figure. The name beside it is HitPointsPlus. The motto is still Play. Rank. Rise.

  17. 27 Sep 2026

    Phone header and the composer

On a small screen the header is two rows: the mark and the name with the bell, inbox, and avatar, then a full-width search. Messages feel like a chat, with voice notes, pictures, and short video kept on this device.

  18. 25 Sep 2026

    HP and the 250-row board

The board ranks HitPointsPlus HP, not the Era Weaver high score. Each tab paints 250 seats inside the card. Top 10 stays put. xaelserpent is rank #0 on all-time only.

  19. 22 Sep 2026

    Inbox and 1:1 voice

Accepted friends can message and place a 1:1 call. Links cannot be sent in chat. The words stay on this device. HitPointsPlus keeps ciphertext only for a short while.

  20. 18 Sep 2026

    Profiles, country, and friends

Every public seat lives at /u/the-name. The header shows the country. Friends are profile links, not an open lobby. A Route Tree is optional and starts empty, except the HitPointsPlus legend’s sample.

  21. 14 Sep 2026

    Signup 18+ claim

The age confirm is part of signup, for the Google mock and for a key account. The landing stays public. Someone who says they are under 18 does not get an account.

  22. 7 Sep 2026

    Cartridge shelf

Era Weaver is the live cartridge. The other slots say coming and cannot be played. Copy on the shelf says cartridge.

  23. 1 Sep 2026

    HitPointsPlus chrome

The landing, mock Join, library, and empty Era Weaver stage came first. Test ads sit on the public bar and the pre-game splash only. Games contain zero ads.

Sign-in

Google is the sign-in choice for the owner, staff, and players who want that inbox. A key account is for a player who does not want mail: the seat is proved by its phrase, not an email. Continue with Google requires configured verified authentication. Key signup remains available locally and issues a 16-word HitPointsPlus phrase. Save it on your device; HitPointsPlus retains its edge words and a one-way verifier. Recovery requests are encrypted for owner review. Verified sign-in enables owner approval. Tester seats use the normal pre-game splash; their stored eligibility is for future cartridge paywalls.
